As the proud owner and founder of Divine Care at Home, Dana Simmons made a decision in 2016 to start her home-care business.  Her compassion and concern for caring for those unable to care for themselves and are in need of a little extra companionship were what she believed was her gift from God.  It was her calling and purpose to provide hands-on care to the elderly and unable. 

 
Her journey in health care started over 18 years ago, receiving her nursing assistant certification in 1999. This accomplishment started the path to working in various nursing homes and hospitals gaining knowledge and experience that inspired her to go back to school to obtain her Associates Degree in Health Administration from ECPI, in 2010.  
 
She went on to attend Strayer University and received her Bachelors in 2014 and Master’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Health Management in 2016. As Mrs. Simmons worked in the medical field, she graphed her work experiences working as a Caregiver, up to Director of a home-care after completing her education.   
 
With her continued experiences and education, Dana has fully understood the specific needs of each patient.  From medication reminders to caring for elderly patients with dementia, medically handicapped, end of life needs, or just day to day task. It is a passion of Mrs. Simmons to ensure that each 

of her patients has dignity and respect without losing independence and to be able to continue and maintain their lifestyle.
